Ok, so this was the scene last night at 11:51 pm at the GameStop in my hood! Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is what they were all waiting for! The line was like 2 blocks long. I know the photos a little blurry… I had to have my friend snap the photo on her iphone since I’d used up all the juice in my brand spankin’ new Droid showing it off for the past few days! hehe I might be in need of a back up battery!
Anyway, I figured I’d waited in one line this week to get my hands on the Droid. Soooo, if anyone wants to loan me their copy of COD please please pleaaaase let me know… or I can come over with a full days worth of gaming snacks?!? Any takers? Huh huh???

When you ask most people what’s your favorite time of year?… They’d probably say Summer or the Holiday season… But, I say this year the very best of 2009 is happening RIGHT NOW!!! NOVEMBERRRRRRR!!! Let me tell you why:

1. November 6th- THE DROID- Verizon FINALLY has a kick ass smartphone
2. November 10th- CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 2- I haven’t been this excited about a new game since Halo 3!!! Ok let’s be real since Rock Band! haha
3. November 20th- NEW MOON- Vampires, Italy, Werewolves, Romance… oh & Robert Pattinson! Need I say more!
4. November 27- THANKSGIVING- Do you really need a reason to be excited about a day where you just get to stuff yourself like a turkey with amazing home cooked food???
5. November 29th- MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
And THAT my friends is why November is the best month ever. Period.
Did typing out that period part make it seem even more final? Yeah it did, it totally did!
Prince of Persia is one movie I am so looking forward to, I mean with childlike excitement. This is going to be my live action Aladdin!!! That Aladdin character was pretty cute, but Prince Dastan! YOWSA!!! So, they cast, Jake Gyllenhaal as the lead. When I saw the first images of him all beefed up… I thought, “Hey, maybe this guy can pull it off!”
I mean come on, how can you go wrong with a movie that’s got epic sandstorms, battles, medieval princes & princesses, demons… oh and a magical dagger?!? I’m expecting fantastic special effects and tons of witty dialogue. Jerry Bruckeimer is producing, and he did and AMAZING job with the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, so I am really hoping that he pulls it off again! (I’m sure Disney is too! Cause God knows they need some more money! ahah)
It’s a Disney flick. For me this is make or break for Disney. If they can make this movie and stay true to what all the gamers love about the story, then I think I will have a little more faith in them for their recent Marvel take over!
One thing I am not looking forward to when the movie is released on May 28th… THE BRITISH ACCENTS!!! Really?!?! It’s called THE PRINCE OF PERSIA!!!!!!!!!
Jury’s still out if I should be more excited about the film release… or the rumors about a new Ubisoft Prince of Persia game???? eek!
I’ll admit I did get a little emotional during the MTV VMA tribute to Michael Jackson. But, it made me realize how much of an impact he really had on me during my childhood.
So, I really wanted to find something that would do MJ justice. And then my Dad, yeah I know… Anyway, my Dad showed me this video on Youtube, and it only seemed fitting to post it here for you. So, thanks pops! ENJOY!!!

Anyone who knows me knows, I can be a little awkward around babies. I mean I never know what to do with them. I feel like I’m going to drop them or break them somehow. And I don’t do the whole baby talk thing or funny faces. I just want them to be like 2 years old and be able to have funny little chats with them. And everyone always say, “Oh, one that that will all change!”
Well, that day has arrived! Because this might just be the coolest baby I have ever seen! I think we’ve got a little fanboy in the making!

So, apparently this guy met a pretty lady at a bar in Toronto and kept pestering her until she finally gave him her card & number, just to get rid of him… Mental note to self… Never ever give your REAL number to a guy that you are trying to get rid of, because I promise you, he WILL call! And it will not be pretty!
It’s about that time… one week till Halloween. I know we are all trying to come up with what to dress up as… for most girls their thinking: slutty nurse, slutty ladybug, slutty vampire… For me, I’m thinking teenage mutant ninja turtle, Ducktales, Lara Croft… but when I saw this video I knew what I HAD to be! Check it out for yourself! And if you know how I can get my hands on one of these bad boys, help a girl out!!!
So, you all know how much I loved the latest Star Trek movie. J.J. Abrams- amazing, the starship looked great, actors were perfect, Nemoy!!!!… blah blah blah… and I mean seriously it was really successful, another one is in the works and they all made loads of money (a lot from me… but mostly from all of you guys too!)
And now… this comes out!!! Ugh… Now not only is the movie awesome, but the set seems like it was so much fun! Love to see good actors, crew, directors and everyone having fun on set and making kick ass movies! Because after all it is just play and playing should be FUN…
I can’t wait to see what other extras are on the dvd release in November! SSSSSOooo excited!
